Games can get intense! If you are getting worked up and afraid you may type something that could get you banned try these tips:

Do not repeat bad words, even if another player did. Our system does not understand that you may be repeating something back to another player. It only understands that you said something that is against the Code of Conduct. If you break the Code of Conduct, you will get a ban.

Turn on Quick Chat-Only

If you are afraid that you might type something in chat that will upset others it can be better to only say the things in Quick Chat:

Open Rocket League

Select Settings from the Main Menu

Select the Game Play tab

Locate the Text Chat field

Select Quick Chat

Disable your chat

Sometimes it might be better off to say nothing at all:

Open Rocket League

Select Settings from the Main Menu

Select the Game Play tab

Locate the Text Chat field

Select Disable Chat

Report Bad Behavior

Report bad behavior as it happens
